About  Me

Hello, my name is Jorie Carr born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky. I am a freshman at the University of Kentucky. Currently, I am undecided but I am looking into Special education with a minor in African-American studies. I have wanted to study Special needs eduation since I have been in High School. I am passionate about special education because I believe no child should be seen as "invisible."  I started having interest in Special education when I began to be a peer educator at age sixteen and I first handedly watched these students get abused by their educators.
